I'm going to be a sophomore in high school & I need help. I'm very smart and can deliver good grades if I put enough effort into it. Freshman year I lost all motivation in school and became very lazy. &. finished with a 2.14. this year i

Answers:

1. Do your homework every night.
2. Meet with teachers if you don't understand something
3. Put school work ahead of your social life
4. Stay off of social media and Netflix until your homework is done.

If you can't retain the information, try using apps or search up study methods on youtube. I used quizlet frequently and downloaded the google docs app to work on assignments on my phone if I couldn't get onto a computer (Doing this saved me more time than you would think). A lot of people on youtube have good note taking tips and methods, so you can decide what method works the best for you. I also recommend watching videos about certain subjects since they tend to convey information in a way that is entertaining. Good luck!

The school you attend obviously doesn't make lessons interesting enough. Try a new school with good reviews and academics. I'm from the UK and aren't fully sure on the US system, but I can offer help.

1. If your school offers you the chance to sit wherever you want, sit away from those who cause trouble and districations. Sit close to those who are quieter and get the work done. However, if you're awarded with a seating plan, and aren't satisfied, then ask the teacher to move due to distractions.
2. Make a schedule for your daily tasks. Study a few days of the week to ensure you understand what you've learnt in class. Complete homework as it can fill in for studying.
3. Listen in class, do the work, avoid distraction and if stuck, ask a teacher for help. Be well prepared for tests. If you're struggling on a particular topic, then ask for support from the teacher.
4. In order to excel further, ensure you have the correct equipment with you. Bringing a planner helps keep track, along with a notepad. Write the most important stuff doen in your exercise book or anything you need to know.

Hope this helps.

Lmao I hate people who answer with one word. I'm also about to become a sophomore , I slacked off as a freshman due to friendship and relationship distractions . All I can say is make time for friends when you're not busy . Do your homework its so important , you'll only pass with a C if you don't do homework. I hate homework I never did it. But I will start . When I got home I would like to just talk on the phone with friends but honestly that can wait til the weekend . Besides if your always on the phone or wii friends . Their gonna think you don't have a life of your own and that your annoying or sum. Do your thing, and you'll be good

ok
